Will ReDoc interface with the rest of our computer systems for admissions, billing, and our comprehensive electronic patient records?
Generally speaking – yes. On all of our projects we seek to integrate with our client’s existing systems for patient intake (demographics and the assignment of a unique patient identifier), billing (all the information from treatment that is necessary to post a claim) and results reporting (copies of the patients plan of care, treatment notes, and discharge summary for inclusion in a more complete copy of the patient’s electronic health record). We have vast experience in doing so with both standards based (HL7) and custom interfaces, and currently have effective interfaces in place with over 60 different systems in private practice, hospitals, and integrated delivery networks.
Actual success for these integration goals, however, is dependent on both the existing systems themselves and access to IT staff to facilitate the setup, testing and maintenance of the interface.
In order to help ensure success and clarify expectations for our more involved projects, in the later stages of the buying process we work closely with our prospects to understand their integration goals and the capabilities of their existing systems, and provide an exhibit to our sales agreements that is specific to the goals for that project.
