What hardware and network infrastructure will I need?

ReDoc only requires a modest hardware support for most implementations. This includes end user computers (either laptops, tablet PC’s, or desktop computers based on the user’s role and the physical layout of the facility), server space (for the ReDoc applications, data, and an instance of Microsoft SQL). Network connectivity is required between the server and all user workstations. Thin Client (such as Microsoft Terminal Services) infrastructure and a wireless network, while not required, are strongly recommended to support optimal performance during point of care documentation.

To best understand how any existing hardware may be leveraged and determine whether any hardware or infrastructure upgrades would be necessary is to speak in person with a TRDC sales or technical rep. Once we understand what you already have access to, we can provide recommendations on upgrades for your initial implementation and to sustain your growth over time that leverage your existing workstation, server, SQL, network and thin client infrastructure to the greatest degree practical.
