    How we help solve problems

Problem: “We got audited last month by CMS, and they found several cases where our documentation didn’t support what we billed.”

Solution: As therapists document their patient treatment in ReDoc, they are concurrently recording the diagnosis codes, procedure codes, and units of treatment. This information can then be either sent electronically to a billing application, or it can be printed in a billing summary report. Either way, ReDoc is creating the output that exactly reflects both the treatment administered to the patient and the documentation of that treatment, which helps our clients avoid problems during CMS or payor audits.

We encourage our clients to seek an electronic interface between their ReDoc and Billing applications. An effective interface will allow ReDoc to electronically transmit billing information and avoid the delay, expense, and potential transcription errors that come with manual charge posting.
